the idea

Our goal was to create a job visit system where professional candidates could apply for various real projects at Deutsche Telekom, where they became associates for 1 or 2 weeks and became members of the team performing the task.

And the candidates' work was approved by real project managers, often senior executives of Deutsche Telekom, within the application.

One person could participate in several programs, and if his ratings were high enough, he would get a real job offer from the company.

our workflow

We have created 4 categories, and we were trying to find the best answers for the following tasks or questions
What is the voice of the user?

  • Who are your users?
  • Do they have different behaviors?
  • Do you describe them with personas? Or patterns?
  • Are there multiple journeys through the product?

Experience

  • What is the end-to-end user experience?
  • How do users arrive or begin?
  • What is the ideal or target path or flow?
  • Is this a single or multi-session experience?
  • How does the experience end?
  • What are the exit points?

Competitor audit

  • What do we already know about our competitors?
  • What is the competitive landscape?
  • What are the recent trends in this space?
  • What other industries, verticals, or products could we learn from?
  • What are the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors?

Technology / security

  • Is the solution likely to be web-based? mobile? embedded?
  • How will privacy be addressed?
  • Will user data be used for personalization?
  • What other industries, verticals, or products could we learn from?

summary

After the application went live on Android and IOS the feedbacks that we have gathered from the users was more than satisfying for the management, and the company started to use this application as their main recruitment platform for anybody who wanted to apply on an internship at Deutsche Telekom.
